HIF Plastic Lining Steel Chemical Pump

I. General description
 
     The HIF fluoroplastic lining steel chemical pump is a horizontal-type single stage single suction overhung volute pump, whose dimension is in accordance with the standard of DIN2456/IS02858. The HIF pump may be used to convey various corrosive liquors. It can be widely used in the industries such as chemical industry, metallurgy, power, paper manufacture, seawater desalinization, food, and pharmaceuticals industry. The pump can also be used in the acidwashing, and paint spraying processes in the automobile manufacturing industry, in the electrolyte convey process in the non-ferrous metal metallurgy industry, and in the chlorine water and waste water treatment, acid feeding and chlorine drying processes in the ion-exchange membrane caustic soda preparing project.

The features of the pump design:
The outline and installation dimensions and the basement are all in accordance with the international standards, which enable our product to substitute for the imported pumps.
The inlet and outlet of the pump share the same axial line, which will facilitate the system design and pipe connection.
The bearing bracket, shaft, blade wheel and the pump cover are assembled together, so the pump needn’t be detached from the pipelines during maintenance. If the intermediate lengthened coupling is available, even the motor needn’t be detached from the pipelines either.
The bearing bracket and the basement should perform anticorrosive protection, and the working medium will not corrode the bearing bracket and the basement in case of the leakage of pump and pipeline. Hence the service lives of the bearing bracket and the basement are prolonged, so does the integral service life of the pump.
The pressure applied on the shaft seal can be compensated by the auxiliary blade, the blade wheel balance hole or the auxiliary blade wheel. The shaft seal is filled with soft packing. Many seal types such as single-end, or double-end mechanical seal, and the combination seal.
The endurable rolling bearing and proper shaft diameter ( Its shaft diameter is 5~10mm larger than that of the IHF pump with the same specification) guarantee that the set of shaft has enough strength and rigidity, and consequently the pump can run steadily. The pump bodies with certain specifications are twin-volute style, which enjoy balanced radial force to ensure the steady operation of the pump.
The conveying medium and flow parts
The mineral acids such as the sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, and aqua regia and some organic acids with different temperature and concentration.
The alkaline solutions such as sodium hydroxide and sodium phosphate with different temperature and concentration.
Various saline solutions.
Various strongly corrosion media such as the strong oxidants, organic solvents, and reducers.
The materials of the pump flow parts:
The material of the pump body and pump cover is steel with roller coating of F40. F40 can bind the steel tightly and will not scour. It can resist high-temperature and form a smooth surface. So it is quite suitable for manufacturing the lining of the pump. The blade wheel is made by die pressing with F46 and PFA, which ensure that it possesses high strength and anticorrosion performance.The pump is a superior anticorrosion product with advanced technology and high performance.
