I. General
description
The HIP and HZAP Jacketed insulting chemical
pumps are horizontal-type single stage
single suction volute pumps, whose dimension
is in accordance with the standard of
DIN2456/IS02858A~P160. The HIP and HZAP
pumps may be used to convey various
corrosive and high-temperature-crystal
liquors such as carbolic acid, PA, bisphenol
A, Maleic Anhydride and pitch. They can be
widely used in the industries such as fine
chemical industry, chemical manure,
petroleum, metallurgy, coal chemical, oil
and grease chemicals, and cosmetic industry.

The features
of the pump design:
The unique insulating jacketed design endows
the pump with superior insulation
performance and guarantees that the
insulating medium will not leak. The
insulating pipelines can be conveniently and
reliably installed. The insulating media
including the hot water, steam, and thermal
oil are optional for the customers.
There are two types of supporting structures
at the bottom part of the bump: footing
structure and center bearing structure. The
center bearing structure will effectively
eliminate the negative affects caused by the
thermal expansion, which is suitable for the
large caliber and high temperature working
conditions. The customers can select the
supporting structures by themselves.
The mechanical seal with special structure
ensures its endurance.
The suction inlet of the pump employs the
inducers, which ensures the small net
positive suction head of the pump. Some
materials may vaporize under high
temperature and cause cavitations to the
pump. And the pump will not get damaged
because of cavitations.
The special oil seal guarantees that the
pump will not leak and wear the shaft in any
case, and hence it will save labor and
reduce the oil consumption.
The outline and installation dimensions and
the basement are all in accordance with the
international standards, which enable our
product to substitute for the imported
pumps.
The performance parameters of the HIP pump
are the same as the HIJ pump. The
performance parameters of the HZAP pump are
the same as the HZA pump.
The inlet and outlet of the pump share the
same axial line, which will facilitate the
system design and pipe connection.
The bearing bracket, shaft, blade wheel and
the pump cover are assembled together, so
the pump needn’t be detached from the
pipelines during maintenance.
The pressure applied on the shaft seal can
be compensated by the auxiliary blade, the
blade wheel balance hole or the auxiliary
blade wheel. The endurable rolling bearing
and proper shaft diameter guarantee that the
pump can run steadily. The pump bodies with
certain specifications are twin-volute
style, which enjoy balanced radial force to
ensure the rather more steady operation of
the pump.
The materials of the pump flow parts:
The flow part materials of the HIP and HZAP
pumps include the cast steel and various
alloys such as 303, 304, 305, 306, 307, 316,
316L, 304L, 904, 904L, 804, 804L and Monel
alloy.
Matters need attention during application:
In order to get uniform temperature over the
pump the insulating system should be started
first before the pump starts. When stopping
the pump the first step is stopping the pump
and the next step is stopping the insulating
system. |
